The National Spanish Exam will be administered at Hawken between March 5-17, depending on division. This test is a national contest with over 100,000 students participating. Students are tested on vocabulary and grammar in context as well as listening and reading. Although it is certainly not a comprehensive test of one's ability to communicate in Spanish, it does give a representative snapshot of where we stand in comparison to other Spanish students across the country. The following flash cards, exercises and practice quizzes will help you prepare for some of the content you will see on the exam. You should also practice reading and listening as much as possible to authenticsources to improve comprehension in these areas.
