Pluralization of nouns
Correct use of adjectives (including gender / number concordance)
Use of possessive pronouns
Proper conjugation of regular verbs in the present tense
Familiarity and use of the following irregular verbs in the present tense: hay, ser, tener, gustar, hace (with weather expressions), power verb construction
Proper sentence formation including sentences, negation, basic questions
